Finding snow to build cat a bust; trampoline a must

As snow continued to fall long after dark on Friday night, I suggested to Barney and Shadow that it might be fun to go outside the next day and build a snow cat.

Barney looked interested, but Shadow, the original Mr.”Snow? No!”  just walked away.

“Well, Barn, it looks like you and I will play in the snow tomorrow,” I told him. By the time we ventured outside shortly after noon the snow was…GONE!  A little remained in the back yard but not nearly enough to make a snow kitten, much less a snow cat. Read the rest of this entry →

FURR kitties take part in coffee clatch

When the snow has melted and Saturday turns out to be a cool, sunny day, where does the young professional PR kitty go to hang out? Starbucks, of course!

But this wasn’t just any outing … Shadow asked his friend Bob to meet him for a “greet and treat” outing. Bob didn’t know it, but Shadow was auditioning him to possibly join the FuRR PR team.

Southern kitties say NO! to snow

Barney and Shadow and The Great Blizzard of 2011! We watched the snow come down and cover the yard and streets.

“Guys,” I told Barn and Shadow, “You just have to go outside and play in the SNOW!“
