Lady library cat makes fast friends with students

It is Lady’s Day here in the library! Library Cat version, that is. Sweet little Hexie is auditioning for a spot on the Library Cat Staff, and by the time she had been here two hours she had nailed it.

It is a good thing I hadn’t planned to bring Barney today. Seems Mr. B. is going to be one to set his own work schedule. Again this morning he was nowhere to be found, choosing to rest, no doubt, after his busy day at work yesterday.

Barney excited everyone by eating treats out of Brianna’s hand.  (more…)

This week Thursday is as good as Friday usually is! The Feline Rescue and Rehome huge fundraiser sale starts tomorrow at the corner of Kavanaugh and N. Cedar, and Barney and I will be there. So today is my Friday here at school.

Barney got a day off today, and Tank is holding down the fort.

He is getting more comfortable with the commotion here. It is really amazing how well he is doing when you think that little more than a month ago he was fending for himself, trying to make it as a stray kitty in an alley. (more…)
