Hi, Cats in the Stacks readers. It’s me, Alex. I am writing this all by myself today because I have a favor to ask. Would you guys please all take just a minute to click on the link below and vote for me in the Bissell Most Valuable Pet Contest?

Last year our Head Library Cat Big Footsie had his picture entered, and he won fourth place in the week 7 contest, beating out thousands of other pets! That meant he made it to the finals and had a chance to win up to $5,000 for Feline Rescue and Rehome, as well as the honor of being the Most Valuable Pet and being pictured on Bissell product packaging. Coming back to school is good, and Library Skills are fun? I could maybe give those a “yes” vote, and I know my second graders would.

Alex and I are both back on the job today. We have been proudly showing everyone the February issue of Cat Fancy Magazine, which features Alex in their article “Literary Felines…Meet 45 Library Cats.”
